This fall, we’re having the clutter conversation that goes underneath the piles, bins. and overstuffed closets to uncover
Come with the clutter you can't seem to make decisions about. Leave understanding why you've been holding onto it and with a clearer way to decide what deserves space in your life now.
Keep.
Donate.
Trash.
You've probably watched the shows.
Maybe you've done the challenges.
You've organized the closet, bought the bins, filled the donation bags and promised yourself more than once that you were finally going to deal with that room.
And then there's all the ordinary stuff sitting around your house waiting for you to finally decide what to do with it.
What if some of your stuff is carrying something you haven't recognized yet?
Some of the things we keep aren't really about the things at all.
They can be holding:
Who you used to be.
Who you thought you'd become.
Who you still think you should be.
The people, memories, and stories you're afraid of losing if you let go of the things connected to them.
The money you spent.
The gift someone gave you.
The project you should finish.
The woman you think you should be.
The person, relationship, dream, or season of life that letting go might force you to acknowledge is really over.
The things that aren't sentimental at all.
They're simply sitting there because you're already making a thousand decisions and haven't had the capacity for one more.
And once you understand what you're actually dealing with, you can start making decisions from clarity instead of guilt, shame, pressure, or obligation.
There's something about fall that makes us want a fresh start.
Summer is winding down.
Schedules are changing.
We're spending more time at home.
And before long, the holiday bins are going to come out, the calendar is going to get fuller, and even more things are going to find their way into our homes.
So before all of that happens...
Not so you can create a perfect house.
Not because you need to get rid of everything.
And definitely not because we're going to race around filling as many donation bags as possible.
We're going to slow down long enough to understand:
Sometimes a fresh start doesn't begin by throwing more things away.
For three hours, we're going to have honest conversations about our clutter…with each other and with ourselves.
I'll teach you the five conversations that may be hiding underneath your stuff.
But then we're going to use them.

And that's a very different place to begin.
And most importantly:
Because we're not just going to talk about it. We're going to practice it together.
Before more things come into the house...
Before the calendar gets fuller...
Before another year ends with the same boxes, piles and unfinished decisions still sitting there...
You don't need to stop caring about your things.
You don't need to throw away everything sentimental.
You don't need to become a minimalist.
And you certainly don't need another reason to criticize yourself for what you haven't dealt with yet.
You need a better place to begin.
And once you understand that:
This fall, give yourself more than a cleaner drawer.
It's a 4-hour live, interactive experience designed to help you understand why some of your stuff is so difficult to make decisions about in the first place.
We'll explore five different things our clutter can be carrying: identity, love, guilt, grief, and postponed decisions, and you'll have time to reflect, talk with other women, learn through live coaching, and actually work with some of your own clutter while we're together.
This isn't another organizing class or “get rid of 100 things” challenge.
We're going underneath the clutter so you can make decisions with more clarity and less guilt, shame, and obligation.
No! I'm offering the event live twice so you can choose the time that works best for your life. Or attend both.
Tuesday, September 1 at 1 PM ET
OR
Friday, September 4 at 5 PM ET
It's the same complete event both times. Simply choose the one that works best for you…or come twice.
No.
I'm not going to tell you what room to declutter each day or give you a giant checklist of things you should get rid of.
In fact, the goal isn't to see how much you can get rid of at all.
We're going to help you understand what you're actually dealing with so you can make better decisions about what stays, what goes and what genuinely deserves space in your life now.
It is not, but you can add it at checkout for just $7
Then you're in exactly the right place.
I am absolutely NOT going to tell you that everything sentimental needs to go.
Sometimes the clearest decision is:
“I love this. This matters to me. I'm keeping it.”
We're learning how to distinguish that from keeping something because of guilt, fear, obligation or an expectation you didn't consciously choose.
The goal is not less stuff at any cost.
The goal is clarity about what deserves your space.
Yes, but probably not the way you're imagining.
You'll choose one small, manageable area of your home and have time during the event to actually work with your belongings using what you've learned.
We're not racing to clean an entire room.
We're practicing a different way of making decisions with real things, in your real home, while we're together.
You'll get the most from the experience if you're willing to participate, but you never have to share something that feels too personal.
Some conversations will naturally be lighter. Others…especially around grief, relationships, or changing seasons of life, may bring up things you'd rather reflect on privately.
You get to decide what you share.
The purpose of the breakout rooms isn't to put anyone on the spot. It's to create an opportunity to hear yourself in the experiences of other women because sometimes someone else puts words to something you've been feeling for years.
Come with:
One object you've repeatedly struggled to make a decision about.
It might be clothing, a gift, something sentimental, an old project, something inherited…whatever immediately comes to mind.
You'll also want access to one very small clutter area you can work with during our guided doing time.
And bring your companion workbook, something to write with, and an open mind.
That's it.
Good.
Because I'm not giving you another one.
You probably already know HOW to declutter.
We're going to talk about why knowing how hasn't made some of these decisions any easier.
And that may be the conversation you've been missing.
