We're not going to talk about bins.
We're not going to talk about labels.
We're not going to talk about organizing systems.
Because if you've struggled with sentimental clutter, inherited belongings, keepsakes, old dreams, hobby supplies, or "just in case" items, you already know the problem isn't organization.
The problem is that the stuff means something.
And that's why traditional decluttering advice often doesn't work.
If so, you're not alone.
Many of the items you're struggling with aren't difficult because of the item itself.
And that's exactly what you'll begin to untangle inside this self-paced workshop.
Before we go any further, I want you to know something: I don't teach this workshop because I've somehow mastered emotional attachment to clutter. I'm teaching it because I'm walking through it too.
For the past 25 years, there has been a baby, toddler, or little child in our home. Today, we still have eight children living at home, but my husband and I know that chapter of welcoming new babies into our family has come to an end.
That realization has brought with it some surprisingly emotional decisions. Boxes of baby clothes, toys, keepsakes, and little-kid items that have been part of our family's story for decades suddenly feel different. Not because I need the items, but because of what they represent. They remind me of seasons of life that were beautiful, exhausting, meaningful, and far shorter than I ever imagined they would be.
What I've learned firsthand is that emotional clutter isn't really about the clutter. It's about the memories, identity, hopes, fears, and emotions attached to the clutter. And until we understand what's underneath the attachment, it's easy to stay stuck…moving the same boxes, avoiding the same decisions, and wondering why it feels so hard.
That's exactly why I created this workshop. Not to convince you to get rid of your things, but to help you understand why certain things feel so difficult to let go of, and give you a framework you can return to whenever you're ready to work through another difficult decision.

Why does some clutter feel easy to deal with, while other items feel impossible
The difference between sentimental clutter, identity clutter, and "just in case" clutter
Why forcing yourself to make decisions usually backfires
How to separate the meaning from the object
How to recognize when you're keeping an item—or protecting an emotion
A simple framework for making intentional decisions without guilt, fear, or overwhelm
How to build confidence one decision at a time
